I am finished my B.COM course in 2000,may i join directly to cs intermediate now.

Yes,you can join CS intermediate directly after finishing B.Com. after such a long gap because there is no restriction regarding upper age limit to join CS programme .

CS stands for Company Secretary.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts the Company Secretary Exam .The CS Exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December.

There are three stages in this course –

*Foundation programme,

*Executive programme and

*Professional Programme.

Candidates who have cleared CA-CPT or have cleared CMA Foundation Exams or holds Bachelor's degree in any discipline other than Fine Arts are exempt from appearing CS Foundation Exams.Those Students have to undergo two stages of the Company Secretaryship i.e.

Executive Programme

Professional Programme

-A candidate is declared to have passed the Foundation / Executive / Professional examination, if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.


The fee structure for CS Course are as under :-

For CS Foundation Programme,it is Rs.4500/-

For CS Executive Programme,

For Commerce Graduates / CPT passed of ICAI / Foundation course passed of ICAI-CMA,it is Rs.9000/-and for Non Commerce graduates,it is Rs 10,000/- and for CS Foundation course passed candidates,it is Rs 8,500/-.

For CS Professional Programme,it is Rs.12,000/-
