hi,
i had passed B.Tech(2008-2012) with ECE branch from JNTUH , now i am interested to go with B.Tech(CIVIL) . can i jion direct to 2nd year of B.Tech(CIVIL) . as the first year syllabus is same for all branches. or I have to take fresh admission again.
pls give me valued suggestion .....

No, it is not possible for you to directly join second year of civil engineering even when you had completed bachelor technology from Electronics and Communication Engineering. The first question arise why do you want to do B.Tech again when you have already done in ECE.

If you so much interest in civil engineering, then you can appear for national level entrance exam like JEE or state level engineering entrance test for admission in civil engineering. You can also take direct admission on the basis of PCM percentage.

Only diploma holders are entitled to get admission directly in second year of engineering.
