IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services .IAS exam is conducted by UPSC every year .This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

If you have completed Graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IAS exam.There is no marks criteria.Final year student are applicable for IAS Exam.

IAS exam is not depend on 8th , 10th ,12th standard marks .It will depend on graduation marks .

You have not any graduation degree so you are not applicable for IAS exam .If you want to join in IAS officer then you must have graduation degree.

Some others criteria are given below-

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

Since you have just passed class 8th, you cannot apply for the IAS exams.
You cant apply for any government jobs.

Even to apply for the driver posts in india Railways , you need to be class 10th pass.

For your reference, please find below the minimum eligibilty criteria toa pply for the UPSC CIVIL SERVICES Exams or IAS exams:

Educational Qualifications: Graduation pass in any Stream

AGE- Minimum 21 years
Maximum 30 years
Candidates belonging to OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Attempts- General candidates- 4 times
OBC- 7 times
SC/ST- No such restriction

The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Services.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible to join Indian Administrative Services at present time.

Indian Administrative Services examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year.

The eligibility criteria required for the IAS examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognised college or university.

* Age limit- 21-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors.

* Final year contendors of graduation are also eligible for this IAS examination.

* No. of attempts- 3 for General, 7 for OBC and no limits for SC/ST contendors.

* Nationality- Indian.

Dear Aspirant,

Sorry, You can not apply for IAS Exam direct after completing your 8th Standard according to the Qualification Require for IAS Exam Because it your 8th Standard Marks are not Considered for IAS Examinations........

A candidate must have completed at least their Graduation degree from Recognized Universities with at least 55%......

Age should not Exist 30 years for general, For OBC it should not Exist 33 years and for SC/ST not exist 35 years.....

Attempt limit:

• General Attempt- 4 Times
• OBC- 7 Times
• SC/ST No attempt limit

So, If you complete your Further Study and Being Graduate then you are eligible for it........

ELIGIBILITY

You should have bachelo'rs degree in any stream from a recognised university.Even if you are in final year of graduation you can apply for the examinations.
