Through NDA entrance exam one can join Indian Air Force after passing 12th provided he should fulfill all eligibility criteria.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II by UPSC to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Eligibility Criteria to join Indian Air Force wing of NDA:-

-The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male.
-Should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of studies from a recognised Board.
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.
-Should have possessed good Physical and Mental physique.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

How To Join Indian Air Force After 12th

You can appear for the National Defense Academy Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year in the months of April and August..

The candidate must satisfy the following conditions in order to appear for the NDA :-

>> Candidate must be either appearing for 12th or must have already cleared 12th from a recognized board..

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

>> The candidate must also satisfy the physical requirements for the desired wing


Exam Pattern :-

The candidate will be tested on the basis of 2 papers :-

>> General Ability
>> Basic English, Maths and Science

The forms for NDA-1 shall be available from 22nd December,2012 and the last date to fill the form is 21st January,2013..

The exam is going to be conducted on 7th April,2013

Yes dear , you can join the Indian Air-force after 12th.

for this you need to crack the NDA exam.

this exam is conducted by UPSC two times a year in April and August.

through this exam you can also join the navy and army.

to be eligible for this exam you need to satisfy the following criterion-

CITIZENSHIP:-
You should have Indian citizenship.

AGE LIMIT:-
Your age should be in the age group of 16-1/2 to 19 years.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-
You should be 12th passed or 12th appearing student from science stream from a recognized board..

GENDER AND MARITAL STATUS-
You should be an unmarried male.


the pattern of the NDA exam is given below-

Paper-1 - Mathematics(300 marks) (120 questions)

Paper-2 - General ability and English(600 marks) (150 questions)



on clearing the exam you will be called for the SSB interview after which you will be selected.

If you have completed 12th standard from science background then you are applicable for all post conducted by NDA .

Only 12th standard science candidate are applicable for Indian Air force Exam .

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate .

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

You must have Citizenship of India.

NDA I and NDA II notification is not announced , But tentative date is announced .So prepare well for NDA I Exam 2013 .

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

Syllabus for Indian Air Force Entrance Examination:-

Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

YES SURE YOU CAN JOIN THE INDIAN AIR FORCE AFTER PASSING CLASS 12TH! This is one of the best times that anybody can apply for the Air Force or any other Defense Entry.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I & NDA - II

NDA have three wings i.e. Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Indian Navy

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination

Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM ( Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution, There is no percentage required for this examination

Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years, there is no age relaxation for this examination

Candidates should be a citizen of India
