hi..!

i just completed my 12th...and have taken up bcom hons for graduation. My main goal is civil services..but while preparing for that..can i do MA in economics..? would it have been easier if i would have taken up BA Economics..?
plz give me some details on MA Economics and how to prep for it.

always remember that going from commerce to arts is always possible.Start prepring from starting of last year of course of study. your main focus should always be on macroeconomics and microeconomics. prepare well these two subjects and increase your general knowledge by going everyday through hindu newspaper.

Sure, you can pursue MA economics after B.Com, but different colleges has got different criteria where some college looks into the marks of maths ans marks of hons subject, some look into the aggregate percentage, some conduct entrance exam test. So, you have to look into which college you want to take admission for.

I want to pursue MA Economics from JNU for which there is an entrance test. Currently in the final year of BCom Hons. But the prospectus says that only Eco Hons, Maths Hons and Stats Hons students are eligible to sit for the entrance. Please help!!!

Can a Commerce student pursue Public Administration in PG?
I'm studying Bachelor of commerce (B.com.,) 2nd year in India. I'm interested to write Civil services Examination. I have interest in studying Politics or Public administration in Post Graduation. But some people r telling that as a commerce student I've no opportunity to change group. I've no interest in studying M.com or M.B.A., I heard that for studying PG that particular course must be a core subject or one of the sub in my UG. isn't it ?
