MBBS refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and same is a undergraduate bachelor degree course of five and a half years ( including one year of internship ) after completing one heads towards becoming a doctor.

As far as you are concerned about the need of appearing in entrance examination for pursuing MBBS degree course in medical college of India then it is certainly required and you need to qualify NEET or AIIMS entrance examination for pursuing MBBS degree course in India.

Also being 29 years old you are eligible for NEET as for the same examination there is no age bar from this year but eligible for AIIMS entrance examination if you belong to reserved category as for the same the maximum age limit for general category candidates is 25 years.

For more details about NEET you can refer to the link www.cbseneet.nic.in where as for details regarding AIIMS MBBS entrance examination you can refer to the link www.aiimsexams.org.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
