Can I pursue MCA without completing BCA? Will it be a good career choice?


Respected Sir, I have not done BCA but I want to pursue MCA so I want to know is it possible to pursue MCA without completing BCA? Will it be a good career choice? Please answer as soon as possible.

You have not done BCA degree and want to know whether you can apply for MCA degree or not.

**I am sorry to say that you can not apply for MCA degree before completing BCA degree because the main eligibility criteria for MCA is that student must possess BCA degree from a recognized institute. Yes, definitely doing MCA will be a good career option for you as you will get lucrative job with good salary in private companies. So, in my opinion you have to firstly apply for BCA degree from a good institute. You can also do BCA from distance mode too. After completing BCA degree, you can apply for MCA degree from good institutes such as IIT’s or NIT’s.
