Can I study Bachelor of Hotel Management with 48% in 12th Science?


Hello Sir, I have secured 48% marks in my 12th standard with Science stream. I am interested to study Bachelor of Hotel Management course. So, with this percentage of marks, I will study this course in my Graduation?

The eligibility criteria for studying hotel management is:
1)candidate must complete 12 standard from a recognized board
2) candidate must secure aggregate of 50% in 12 standard
3) English must be one of the main subject in 12 standard

No, you are not eligible to study hotel management as you have scored 48% and according to the criteria you should score 50%

Hotel management is a good option after 12th class and the hotel industry has lot of scope to make the bright career.

As that who has done 12th class from any stream with more than 50% marks are eligible to take admission in this course. If you want to get admission in the top Hotel Management Institute then you will have to give the entrance exam which is to be conducted as the National and state level every year.

The candidate age should not be more than 22 years for getting admission to this course.

The minimum percentage required to pursue Bachelor of Hotel Management is 50%. However, there are certain universities which take admission on minimum percentage as 45%.

You can pursue Bachelor of Bachelor of Hotel Management from Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration.

Admission to this college is offered on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, Department Test (DT), Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI).

The minimum qualification required to pursue for a hotel management course is 10+2, you should have minimum 50% marks to pursue degree course. However, there are many Institutions which take minimum percentage as 45%.

You can opt for a certificate ,diploma or degree course. Certificate courses is of six months to one year duration, a diploma course is of two years and a degree course is of three year duration.

However, there are some Institutes which take admission on 45%. so, you can apply for this course.
