GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering .

Those candidate who have completed master degree in Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent qualification are eligible for GATE Exam.

Final year of candidate are eligible for GATE Exam.There is no specific attempts limit , you can apply here maximum times .There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

5th semester candidate are not eligible for GATE exam .
