Hey!! I have done M.com.. Can i take NET for economics???...pelase tell me

Hai,

Yeah you are eligible for NET(National Eligibility Test) exam, but with a minimum of 55% of marks are required for this exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should have to complete Master's degree with a minimum of 55% of marks from any recognised university.

5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.

Candidate must be an Indian origin.

Final year persuing students are also eligible.

Age criteria and relaxation details:-

JRF(Junior Research Fellowship): The maximum age limit is 28 years, no minimum age limit.

Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates,

5years of relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

There is no age limits for Lectureship.


Exam pattern:-




Application Fee details:

For General category--> 450 Rs,

For OBC category--> 225 Rs,

For SC/ST category--> 110 Rs.

NET exam has two types one is JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship.

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Final year persuing students are also eligible.

Yes, you can definitely take NET exam for economics after doing M.Com.

NET is conducted by UGC for two posts -

# Junior Research Fellowship
# Lecturership

Date of Exam – 30th June 2013

Eligibility for UGC NET ~~

You should have done postgraduation with 50% marks, from recognised university.

Maximum age for JRF position is 28 years as on 1st June 2013

There is no age limit for lecturership position.
