The bachelors degree offered by the Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering is recognized by Government of India and therefore, you are definitely eligible to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, organized jointly by Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Science.

IIIE Mumbai is the Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering is an Engineering college situated in Mumbai.

This Institute is recognized by the Government of India.

GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering which is conducted by the IIT's every year to select eligible candidates for the M.Tech programs in various colleges across our country.


The Basic Requirement to apply for the GATE is :

You need to be a minimum graduate in B.E/B.Tech from a RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE.

So yeah sure you are eligible to apply for the GATE exam after your B.Tech from IIIE Mumbai.

The GATE last dates for the 2012 exam has already passed away. But you can always apply next year as there are no age limits nor attempt limits.

thanks a lot sir! for your kind direction. i was very confused about my future because i was doing my b.tech from iiie mumbai but once my friends told me that this degree is not valid for gate. so i was thinking to appear in amie exams. but now i got proper guidance. thanks a lot once again sir.
