I am a +2 ongoing student.According to the educational requirements a +2 ongoing student can also write the NDA exam.So I have applied for exam and I got a mail that my application is received.Now I am totally confused about writing the exam (I am not completed the course)

Yes, you can write NDA exam in the final year of your 12th standard.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male candidate only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board withn the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

So in the final year of 12th you can apply for NDA but during the final selection you should have passed 12th.

Even candidates who are studying in class 12th can write the NDA exams

NDA Qualification :-

First things first, I would like to tell you that SURELY you can apply for the NDA - National Defense Academy entrance exam even being in Class 12th. I would give you every information about the same. First of all do not worry about your candidature as there are foolproof ways to check your eligibility for this exam.

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy and its one of the top most Government Entrances which students aim for after passing right out of their Class 12th board exams. This exam is basically conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year but twice in the months of April and August. So being in your Class 12th, you can most probably apply for both these exams.

Now before I explain any further, I would give you a detailed eligibility Criteria for the NDA Application:-

1. You should be an unmarried male citizen of India.
2. Your age should not be less than 16.5 years nor greater than 19 years as in the year of applying
3. You must be a minimum class 12th higher secondary pass from a recognized school or educational institution.
4. Again the Science stream students are open to apply for any of the 3 wings of the Army, Navy and Air Force, but the commerce and arts ones can ONLY apply for the Army wing.

After studying +2 you are eligible for the NDA exam as per the Education qualification which is needed for the exam as you satisfy it.

There are certain other qualification which is needed to be satisfied along with the Education qualification in order to be eligible for the NDA Exam and they are;

>> The candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India

>> The Martial Status for the exam is that the candidate must be a Unmarried male candidate

>> The age limit needed for the exam is 16.5-19 years of age.
