Hi ,i studing engineering in computer science2nd year can join for indian air force,if i can what kind of exam had to be taken and we have to complete the engineering and apply for exam or we can writer the at present while doing engineering ...

Those who have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board with maths, physics and chemistry with atleast 50% marks each are eligible.

Must have completed their BE/B.tech with 60% marks from a recognised university.

If a candidate age is 19 above and does not have a bachelor's degree then they can apply for IAF Group X or Group y

Those who have bachelor's degree in any field can apply for AFCAT , CDS etc.

Can join IAF while donig engineering now?

IAF provides opportunity for airmen with minimum 10+2 educational qualification and below the age of 27 years to become commissioned officer in Army through Army Cadet College Course. The eligibility candidate has to pass the written examination conducted by Army HQ.

Eligibility:

1. A minimum of 60% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level. 2) Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent OR BE/B. Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

2. IAF provides opportunity for airmen with minimum 10+2 educational qualification and below the age of 27 years to become commissioned officer in Army through Army Cadet College Course.
