Re: Can a regular holder apply for CDS exam
If you are having Graduation degree from a recognised university from India then you will be eligible for CDS exam.
If the open university is recognised then the degree will be enough for you to apply for CDS exam. There is nothing written in notification of CDS that you should be a regular or non regular student. You just have to be a Graduate and that degree must be from a recognised university. If you want to apply for CDS exam then your age must be between 19 to 25 years. Although the age limit is different for other defence academy. If you want to join Air force and Navy then you should be a graduate in engineering or maths or physics. The age limit for Air force academy is 19 to 23 years. The age limit for Naval academy is 19 to 22 years. For IMA it is 19 to 24 years . For more information visit http://www.upsc.gov.in |
