Sir/Madam, is a student completed and got certificate in Master degree in English from Tamil Nadu Open University is eligible to apply for Lecturer post in Karnataka state's colleges? If yes, then how can I apply and if no, then what should I do further for Lecturer post?

Many of the colleges will give preference to those candidates who completed their Post Graduation in regular mode and that too from top colleges.

However there are some small colleges or newly started colleges which will hire candidates who completed Post Graduation in Distance mode also.

Hence you can apply for those job opportunities but you need to compromise on your salary initially.

After working for few years, you can try for jobs in top Colleges/Universities to get good salary.

Also you can complete Ph.D course in the meantime so that you can try for Professor jobs.
