what is the next option after studying btech biotech?

is there job opportunity in India for a person having B.Tech Biotechnology degree

Hey, so you are doing B Tech in Bio. Good. It’s a very nice career

option. You can join many private or government organizations after your B Tech. If you

are a IITian or something like that, then you can expect Rs 30,000+ per month.

Otherwise you can get around Rs 20,000 per month. In the higher studies you can take

any specialization in M Tech and later on even can go for Ph D or post doctoral studies

and be a scientist/researcher. Both the options are good. And it’s your turn to choose. S

so go ahead and choose what you like.

i am 10 2 in PCM.i want to do b.tech in biotechnology.which are the good government colleges available under aieee-2011 which offer b.tech(biotech)?

Biotechnology is a combination of biology and technology that allows scientists to alter
cells to manipulate them as needed. In practical application, this means that scientists
can use genetic technology to develop treatments for diseases and to beneficially alter
the genetics of humans as well as other life forms.

Applications of biotechnology are in the pharmaceutical, agriculture, chemical,
environmental remediation, and energy industries. It can be studied during B.Sc and
M.Sc programmes (few universities are offering five-year integrated B.Tech /M.Tech
Dual Degree Programmes after HSC/10+2 Science) and also as B.Tech and M.Tech,
courses.

Is it very worth studying biotech from NIT??What are the job opportunites after b.tech??what will be the salary around??

no scope at all.....as having combination of genetics,food,fermentation,bioinfo,immuno etc.....its better to choose something that provide specialization in a particular field.
