Career options in Ancient Indian History?
I am studying MA in Ancient Indian History from Jawaharlal Nehru University. JNU offers a variety of courses, so I wisht to know what subjects might help in UPSC exams. I would like to know about the academic and career options available in this field according to mt field of specialization. I am considering to try for the PG Diploma offered by the Archaeological Survey of India. I would also like to know my career options in the ASI and outside it. I am also very much interested in social issues regarding the problems and emancipation of women. Are there any career choices in this field that may apply to me? It would help me immensely if you can help me out in this matter as I am totally confused regarding the career choices available to me.
