Re: Career in Research Field after B.Tech ECE?
Hello ,
If you want to choose the Research field, then it would be better for you to complete M.TECH in the area of specialization you want o do the research. Research needs lots of dedication and hard work.If you can get in some good Institutes for the M.TECH programme it will be much better. You can try through GATE after which (if your score is good) you can opt for the colleges. Good Luck. |

Re: Career in Research Field after B.Tech ECE?
yes you can do research work surely. but for this now you have to go for higher study. after completion of your B.Tech you have to go for M.Tech then P.hd. after that you will be eligible for research.
you may join ISRO, DRDO, SAIL, BHEL etc reputed organization for your research work. no for all branch job ECE not eligible. ECE only eligible for their core job, communication job and in some computer related job. |

But in India, it will be tough for you to go for research along with a job. So, let me give you a better idea... Try to go abroad and do MS.. In this you will be doing research on your own field. You will get stipend for this also and you will learn much more. For pursuing MS in foreign countries, you need to write GRE and TOEFL. You can get scholarship and pursue your course. Thanks. |

Re: Career in Research Field after B.Tech ECE?
Dear friend,
To get into research field you must have master degree and after that you have to apply for NET exam in which after qualifying you get in to the government research field. After B.Tech from ECE there is lots of job opportunities in public as well as in private sector. But along with B.Tech degree you should have some authenticated basic skills also. All the best,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, |

Re: Career in Research Field after B.Tech ECE?
Dear aspirant,
Research is one of the best options available for B.tech students. You can apply for different fields and join as a research scholar. DRDO(Defence research Development Organisation) it is one of the best known organisation for research as a scientific officer. ISRO(Indian Space and Research Organization) Here also one can apply for research posts. At the same time a lot of other universities are there which are offering these courses. It is one of brightest fields. Believe you can and you will on the half way. Please do visit this website for your queries related to any entrance exam. Best of luck |
