Re: Are coaching classes required to pass iit-jee?
As it is a time based exam it is better to go for classes than for individual preparation. There may be chances that we will lose some information if we prepare by our own than if we know the present society fast and with what simple techniques they are doing it. Because they had already faced all the problems what a candidate will face for IIT preparation and can advice or guide you in a right way in less time. So it is always better to go for private classes for IIT-JEE instead of own preparation.

Re: Are coaching classes required to pass iit-jee?
Hello friend,
A reputed coaching center have experienced teachers who have been guiding students since many years. They know the best way to crack such exams. They very well know the common difficulties faced by students while writing the exams and they come up with effective ideas to help students to succeed. So, in the preparation of exams, the coaching centers play very important role. I won't say that it's impossible to pass the exam without joining coaching classes but it will not be an intelligent move. For better career you must select the best option available and for IIT JEE, coaching classes are the same. |

Dear Friend
It is totally your choice whether you are capable of studying without any coaching classes or not. Coaching classes are just to guide you through the syllabus and to some what give you the concept of the topics. If you feel that you need the coaching classes then immediately join it and do the study as well. Some of the good coaching institute for IIT' are, FIIT-JEE,Briliant Tutorial etc... All the best...... |

Re: Are coaching classes required to pass iit-jee?
I myself an iit qualified student this year only...i feel that coaching classes cannot be whole and sole for iit..self study matters the most...i have done coaching from atleast 2-3 institutions in last 2yrs. but not satisfied..for iit i tell you what did i referred since last 2 yrs. :
phsics: hc verma - concepts of physics , dc pandey- arihant all subjective books , ie irodov - problems in physics chemistry: op tandon (all three topics), ms chouhan for organics problems , arihant's organic chemistry(do not try out foreign books as they take much more time to understand) maths : arihant all subjective books , ml khanna, rd sharma after you solve all these books with minimum help and with less doubts , cracking iit would a joke for you , if you fell it difficult you can go for material of "vidyalankar" it is the best for those who take more tiime to understand it. test series of brilliant tutorials and fiitjee is very good.. do not buy course material of fiitjee as it is just a collection of problems from "arihant". take mtg's last year question paper so as you can get to actually what is meant by jee questions.. |

But to score good rank in IIT i will say you to join a good coaching institute because they have experience that what type of questions may be asked in IIT and they will only teach you the important things which you yourself could not study in details. Also the regular tests taken by them will also help you because from that you will come to know about the exam pattern and most important thing is the exam pressure. BEST OF LUCK. |

Re: Are coaching classes required to pass iit-jee?
hi friend
it is really a nice question to ask,but i think that the decision of taking the classes is totally depend upon yourself,if you think that it is neccesary then you can go for that .but if you think you can study well by yourself by reading the books then it is not nesessary. |

Re: Are coaching classes required to pass iit-jee?
Hello friend,
If you have high confidence that without taking coaching classes you can crack the IIT-JEE, then of course you can. Education has been becoming tougher as days are passing. You are living in a world of competition, you know it is full of races in each aspect of life. And here you need to keep yourself cool and balanced to get better results. There are many reputed coaching classes all over the country trying to prepare the IIT-JEE aspirants as best as they can. Questions given in the exam also are really harder ones. They teach students best techniques to prepare better for the exam and arrange model tests to enhance students' skill. So it is you who knows best about your quality and capabilities. The rest depends on you whether you want to join coaching class or prepare by yourself! Best of luck! |

Re: Are coaching classes required to pass iit-jee?
Hello,
Thats a very good you have put forward. Nowadays, coaching classes for IIT-JEE have actually become a meeting point for students. Well, it is not necessary for one to join a coaching class for cracking the exam. If you are ready to work dedicatedly towards your goal, then there is no need. But however, though you are working hard, but then there is no point if you dont know how to prepare for the same. These coaching institutes are professionals in training students for this purpose and they know what kind of questions can be thrown at you, also they prepare you such that you are able to answer maximum questions so that most of them are correct. So it is advisable to join a coaching institute, but it should be kept in mind that it must be a reputated one like Bansal, or FITJEE and that you are going to learn and not socialize. Good Luck!! |

Re: Are coaching classes required to pass iit-jee?
Dear friend
The coaching classes teach the students syllabus for the IIT-JEE only but the preparation is done by student only and not by the teachers. They can only guide you and clear your doubts. You can join Narayana IIT academy, FIITJEE, Resonance, Akash Institute. All of them are good enough to make you crack IITJEE. All you need is to cover all the topics in the syllabus completely and to practice previous years question papers of IITJEE. Once you get to know that you have completed some topic completely try to solve all the previous years question of IITJEE from that topic. This will check your preparation status and also build up confidence. Also, check yourself through IIT JEE test series ie Mock test series conducted by your institution (FFITJEE is the best for test series) Thank you. |

Your own preparation is the most important thing. If you can take satisfactory preparation( study popular preparatory books for IITJEE and practise model test papers regularly) by your own, then you can definitely clear IITJEE without taking admission to a coaching institute.

but still if you want join then you can go for bansal tutorials or fitjee coaching classes... |

Re: Are coaching classes required to pass iit-jee?
Hi,
I think you should join classes for preparation of iit-jee examination, because a reputed coaching classes have experienced teachers and they can guide you through the difficult topics. For giving this examination the concepts must be clear in your mind and you must be able to solve any type of problems related to that particular topic. So if you join any good coaching classes then you can have those topics clear in your mind and then it will be easy for you to crack iit-jee. If you join any good coaching classes then they may also provide you study materials and other question papers to solve and this may help you a lot. If you try to study by yourself then there may be some topics which you may miss. Thus it is good to join the coaching classes. -All the best |

I don't think that coaching classes are required to crack IIT-JEE , one can do it by self study in a proper way and in a proper diretion.
But in the caoching classes the teachers teach about how to prepare for the exam and how to score good marks in the entrance exam and in the baord exam, they give tips & tricks to apply in the exam. if you don't want to join caoching classes then its your wish..you can do it by yourself..all the best.. |
