Admission to M.Sc. Zoology in University of Pune is based on entrance examination conducted by the University itself.

The entrance exam is conducted in June and notifications releases in April or May.

There are only 26 seats in the university for this 2 years duration course.

Interested Candidates must have at least 60% marks in B.Sc. Zoology to apply for entrance exam of University of Pune.

Reserved (SC/ST) candidates should have at least 55% marks in the same.

Reservation Criteria:
70% seats are reserved for Maharashtra candidates (in which 50% are for open category and 50% for reserved category)
30% seats are reserved for Non-Maharashtra candidates (in which 50% are for open category and 50% for reserved category)
