Is it compulsory to have Biology in class 12th for Biomedical Engineering?
Is it compulsory to have Biology subject in class 11th and 12th for studying Biomedical Engineering graduate degree course? Or, can I study with PCM subject combination in Intermediate?

In order to study biomedical engineering course, The candidate should have completed 10 +2 with physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics as major subjects from a recognised board with at least 50% marks and relaxation of five percent is given to reserved category students.

Yes, Biology is compulsory in class 11th and 12th for studying Biomedical graduate degree course. The Biomedical engineering courses include the study of Biology, Physics, chemistry, Life science, Biotech,Calculus, Materials science, Principles of design and Bio-mechanics. |
