Both the courses are suitable for joining the Indian Army as an officer. On completion of the graduation or in the final year of the graduation, you can fill the forms for the Combined Defence Services exam. Officers proceed for training after clearing the CDSC exam and SSB and medical examination to Officers Training Academy. They get commissioned into the various Arms and Services of the Indian Army after 49 weeks training.
