Both Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Chemistry and Master of Science in Chemistry has their own equal importance. As you are from Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Chemistry background, I strongly suggest you to choose Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry course.
Job opportunities after completion of M.Sc in Chemistry: You may find employment opportunities in * Petrochemical Industries * Pharmaceutical Organizations * Manufacturing companies * Food Processing organizations * Chemical Manufacturing companies * Paper Industries * Agrochemical Industries ..etc., |

Re: Which course is best between M.Sc Chemistry and MBA in Chemistry after B.Sc Chemistry?
1. For a candidate who has done Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Master's degree in science would be the best course. MBA is good course but as you have done B.Sc in Chemistry, you will enjoy M.Sc course and it has good scope.
2. If you secure 55% marks or more then you can apply for NET exam for JRF and Lectureship . You can also enter research field. |

Re: Which course is best between M.Sc Chemistry and MBA in Chemistry after B.Sc Chemistry?
Actually it depends upon your interest but personally I would like to suggest you that as you have completed your Bachelor of Science in Chemistry for definitely you should opt for MSc in chemistry because you will have more understanding at Higher level also where as MBA in chemistry is also fruitful for you if you are interested in it.
It does not matter much if you go for MSc or MBA because both will be there for you and you will have Masters degree and same opportunities mostly. But still your interest matters. |

Re: Which course is best between M.Sc Chemistry and MBA in Chemistry after B.Sc Chemistry?
MBA and M.SC is both the master degree course. After B.Sc Chemistry you are eligible for both MBA and M.Sc in Chemistry. If you go for MBA then you have to study only management subject. MBA is not related to chemistry.
If you are interested in chemistry and if you like a Chemistry then you should go for M.Sc in chemistry after M.Sc you can go for PhD and after PhD you can join in research field. If you are not interested any more in chemistry and want to study something different, then you may take admission in MBA. After MBA also there is very good scope. You will get a very good job with good salary after completion of MBA. For MBA admission you have to appear in MBA entrance examination like:- CAT, MAT etc. Now you should choose your option from your interest. |

Re: Which course is best between M.Sc Chemistry and MBA in Chemistry after B.Sc Chemistry?
I have never heard of MBA in Chemistry course. I don't think this course is not being offered by many of the colleges in India.
However M.Sc in Chemistry is a good choice for the candidates after completion of B.Sc in Chemistry. You can choose any of the streams under Chemistry in M.Sc course -Organic Chemistry -Inorganic Chemistry -Biochemistry -Physical Chemistry etc. Organic Chemistry is ever green. Always there would be job opportunities for the candidates with this specialization. Hence it would be better to opt for this. If you are having interest to attain some managerial skills along with your core subject knowledge, then you can go for MBA in Chemistry. The duration of both the courses is 2 years only. To give admission for M.Sc course, each and every university will conduct its own Entrance Exam. When it comes to MBA, there are national level and state level Entrance Exams. Popular Entrance Exams are CAT MAT GMAT etc. So, you can opt for the course as per your interest and crack the respective Entrance Exam. |

Re: Which course is best between M.Sc Chemistry and MBA in Chemistry after B.Sc Chemistry?
There is no advantage of going for Master of Business Administration after completion of Bachelor's degree in chemistry. B.Sc Chemistry candidates must go for M.Sc in Chemistry. You can apply for IIT JAM exam for admission in M.Sc in Chemistry from IITs. They are considered to be the best place for pursuing this degree.
Some other universities are Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University. You can apply for National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship if you have 55% marks or more in master's degree. |
