Re: Which course is better with B.Com?
Hi
B.Com is the Bachelor in Commerce. This course is a full time graduation course of duration 3 years. It can be done after passing Class 12th from a recognized school or state board. I must tell you that you CANNOT do 2 graduation courses at a time. You must have submitted all your documents in your college and so you CANNOT do any other regular not part time graduation course. YES you can do the short term, part time, side courses like English Speaking, Communication skills, Personality Development, etc.. Otherwise once you finish with the studies of your Graduation in the B.Com, you can start with the master's of this course called the M.Com which is of 2 years i.e Master's in Commerce. After that you can get well placed in banks, or other corporate offices. Similarly you can also go for the MBA course i.e Master's in Business Administration and this is also a regular full time post graduation course and valued a lot in the present market. IIM's are the top colleges and CAT is the Entrance exam for it. Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |

Re: Which course is better with B.Com?
Hello friend,
As B.com is Bachelor's degree in commerce, and as it is full time course you can't do another course i.e., another degree along with it as its illegal. Well after your B.com degree you can do the following courses to have bright future: M.Com M.Com (Accountancy & Management) M.Com (Advanced Accountancy) M.Com (Tax/Management) Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) All the best |

Re: Which course is better with B.Com?
If you want to go for higher studies after B.Com, then you must have secured good marks in your graduation. Some of the colleges or universities require the candidates to have at least 50% marks in their graduation to provide admission to the post graduation course. Many of the universities conduct entrance exams to select the eligible candidates. A few higher studies option for B.Com candidates are LLB, CA, M.Com, M.M.S, MFM, MBA, Diploma in Banking & Financial Services, CCAP, M.B.S, M.M.M, etc. Usually, B.Com candidates choose Finance as a specialization in MBA or related management post graduation course. If you have more than 55% marks in B.Com, then you can appear for the public sector bank exams for both the clerical and PO posts. If you are interested in teaching, then you can pursue B.Ed course in related subject after completing your B.Com. This course will help you in getting teaching job in government schools.

Re: Which course is better with B.Com?
Choosing between a course to study should be made considering what you want to become and work as. If looking to work in field of Accountancy then it would be best preferable to pursue either B.Com or B.Com (Computers) along with CA simultaneously.
B.Com is a general degree in commerce while B.Com commerce is more value added with Conceptual knowledge of accounting. Skills of recording financial transactions and preparation of reports using computers. |
