I am a Class 10 student at present and would like to know the further options possible for class 11 under Commerce Stream as I wish to take up CA or civil services. I would also wish to know the best subject combination for the same.

And also the different combinations for class 11 under Commerce.

You have to appear in the UPSC exam and qualify for the exam to get selected for the civil service exam. You can choose Arts or the humanities in your class 11 in which you have to study subjects like history, politics, etc. which are a part of the UPSC syllabus, which will help you in your UPSC exam.

The minimum age criteria to become an IAS officer and crack the UPSC CSE exam are atleast 21 years of age.
They must hold graduation degree from a recognised board .
Even those in their final year of graduation are also eligible.
For General category the no.of attempts is limited to 6.
And for OBC , it's 9 attempts.


If a candidate want to become CA , they have to qualify for ICAI membership.
They have to pass several exams :_
CA foundation
CA Intermediate
CA finals
They also have to undergo articleship.
Side by side they can also go graduation (Bcom).
