BSNL conducts the JTO examination every year.
The notification is still awaited and it is expected to be announce in the month of feb-march 2011.
BSNL conduct junior telecom officers exam for JTO TELECOM, JTO CIVIL and JTO ELECTRICAL.
For bsnl jto civil, a candidate must possess B.TEC /B.E or equivalent in civil engineering from a recognized institution or university
For bsnl telecom exam a candidate must possess B.E /B.TEC or equivalent engineering degree in the following decisions from a recognised institution or university.
1-telecommunication
2-computer
3-radio
4-electronics
5-electrical
For bsnl jto electrical exam a candidate must possess B.E/B.TEC or equivalent in electrical engineering from a recognised institution or university
A candidates must be over 21 and below 30 year of age, other age relaxations are given as per govt rules

--The notification for JTO-2011 is not published but it is expected to be published in
either February or March.
--The eligibility criteria is as follow:
-Age Limit:
-Age limit for BSNL-JTO exam is the same as in UPSC exams.
-GEN: upper age limit 30 years
-OBC: 3 year relaxation
-SC/ST: 5 year relaxation
-Educational Qualification:
-A B.E./B.Tech. degree in
Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology
for Telecom section
-B.E./B.Tech. degree in
Civil Engineering for JTO-Civil section.
-B.E./B.Tech. degree in
Electrical Engineering for JTO-Electrical section.
Candidates who are in final year of B.E./B.Tech. are also eligible to apply
provided that they complete their graduation by December of the year.

Date for exam has not been declared till now.

You should be between 21-30yrs of age for applying it.You should be a graduate engineer.You can also apply in your final year.

You can apply for it by cash payment in the office of the BSNL entrance examination or send a dd in favour of Registrar.

these are the eligibility criteria--
--Nationality --indian

--Applicant must possess , Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering cuniversity:
- Telecommunication,
- Electronics,
- Radio,
-Computer,
- Electrical.
- Information Technology

-- applicant for JTOs(Telecom), JTOs(Civil) and JTOs(Electrical) should not be more than 30 years of age
relaxation --i) Govt. servants -- 5 years
BSNL employees -- 5 years;
sc/st-- 5 years;
OBC -- 3 years;
General Category PH candidates--10 years

BSNL i.e Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is currently having three Exams 1.Telecom 2. Civil & 3.Electrical
BSNL conducts this exam once in three years.last time JTO was held in 2009 and next will be in 2012.

Eligibility:-

Eligibilities for BSNL JTO (Telecom):
BE/B. Tech or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the disciplines of Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical or Information Technology.

Eligibilities for BSNL JTO (Civil):
BE/B. Tech or equivalent Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.

Eligibilities for BSNL JTO (Electrical):
BE/B. Tech or equivalent Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering

Basically JTO 2012 will be notified in the month of March 2012
