Every year BSNL recruits JTOs in three major categories - Telecom, Civil, and Electrical. This year, the last date for the submission of application forms is 12th December 2011. The JTO examination will be held on 19th February 2012. To appear for the exam, you should have completed your graduation degree in any of the streams namely Computer Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, or Radio Engineering. Your age must be between 21 and 30 years.

DETAILS ABOUT BSNL JTO EXAM

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

JTO-TELECOM

Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university.

i. Telecommunication,
ii. Electronics,
iii. Radio,
iv. Computer,
v. Electrical.
vi. Information Technology

Final year student are eligible for JTO exam..

JTO-CIVIL

You must have Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.

JTO-ELECTRICAL

You must have Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.

AGE LIMITATION:-

The maximum age for JTO exam is 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

NATIONALITY:-

Only Indian Citizen are applicable.

For this year BSNL JTO exam date is not announced yet.

BSNL JTO stands for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited Junior Telecom Officer. This exam will held according to the vacancies in Telecom Field.

Eligibility criteria for BSNL JTO exam:

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii BSNL dates are still not publish......yet so keep checkin the websitewww.bsnl.co.in
notification mostly come in the month of feb and exam will be held in april/may.
But BSNL is now days looking for VRS(Voluntary Retirement) for the old employees which is delayed as per sources so BSNL JTO Recruitment 2011 plan is on HOLD or CANCELLED..

My friend, you have not mentioned that you belong from which state..

Because , some state is recruiting technical students for Junior telecom officer 2012 , and the notifications of that exams are already published..

Sates like- bhopal, shilong, meerut are already published their BSNL JTO exam notification..

You can get all the information regarding the notification of JTO exam from employment newspaper or from websites like-

So, just log in into those websites and you will get all the information.

Scale of Pay : 9850 - 14600

Age limit : must in between 21 to 30(date of application).

Last date of Receipt : 06.04.2009 ( in 2009)

Date of Examination : 21.06.2009

So from the above information it is clear that this examination is held in April is the last date of receipt and June is the date of examination.
