When is IES exam conducted ? what for that exam ? how to get prepared for tat exam?

First you clearify that you want to know about IAS or IES exam.
IAS exam is conducted many times for the particular subjects.
AND
IES exam is also the under in the UPSC but this exam is only for the engineering students.

IAS important dates are as follows-

Date of Notification: 19.02.2011

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 21.03.2011

Date of Exam: 12.06.2011

Number of Exams -

Preliminary Examination - It is of objective type, which is a qualifying examination.

Main Examination - It consists of written examination and interview.

You have to prepare for the exam according to your syllabus.

hello for the eaxm of IES the notification started in upsc site.

here is a brief one:

IES Exam-2011 Notification: 8th January, 2011 (Saturday)
IES Exam-2011 last date of form receipt: 7th February, 2011 (Monday).
IES Exam-2011 Written Exam date: 4th June, 2011 (Saturday)

age limit: between 21 years to 30 years on the 1st August 2011.

you can attempt the IAS exam if you have the following eligibility

the eligibility criteria for civil services examination is

-> you should have a degree from a recognized indian university.

-> your age should be in between 21 and 30

with this info.
