I am 17 years and 3 months old and just passed class 11. I want to appear for NDA exam this year. When is NDA -1 and 2 held.How can i get through it in first attempt.Kindly suggest some books to prepare the exam.

NDA IInd Exams Notification Was Announced On 9/April/2011.

And Last Date Of Apply for NDA Exams Was 09/May/2011.

The Written Exams Will Be Held On 21/Aug/2011.



But To Apply for NDA Exams, You Must Passed The 12th Examination First, After Completing 12th Examination, You Are Eligible to Apply for NDA Exams.

Or If You Are Appear The Final Examination Of Your Class 12th, Then You Are Eligible to Apply for NDA Examination.


And Your Age Should between 16 1/2 To 19 Years, If You Are Interested To Apply for NDA Exams.


So, If You Have Passed Your 11th Exams In This Year, Then You Are Not Eligible to Apply for NDA Examination.

Few Points on Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:-

Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions

Age limits:-

Must be in between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age.

NDA I is going to be Held on 17th of April for this You are Not Eligible because you have Not passed your 11th Class.

But Don't worry For NDA I 2012 you will be Eligible.

And yes One more Exam i.e NDA II for This year For this Also you are Eligible Keep tracking Employment news in the month of April for Notification because on 9th April Notification for NDA II 2011 will be published.

And last Date for the Notification and Receipt of Application form is 09.05.2011 AND Exam for the Same is on 21.08.2011

NDA: national defence academy conducts exam twice
every year for 300 post in ARMY ,NAVY AND AIR FORCE .

Eligibility Criteria

age limit:
16l/2 to 19 yrs

education:
12th Class of 10+2 System of Edn or Equivalentfor Army and with Phy and Maths for AF,
Navy

important dates:

the dates of first exam is 17 april 2011
and the last date of submission of form is already over.

the 2ND exam dates is not yet notified but it is usually in month of august -September

you can give this exam while you are in 11th class but can join army only when you will

pass your 12th class.

Form distribution dates of exam nda1 (2012)

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA is 12th Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities.
Candidate appearing can also apply.

Age limit 16.5 to 19 years


A candidate has to go through three stages :

Written examination conducted by UPSC
Interview by SSB to test officer potentialities
Medical Test by a Service Medical Board.

Scheme of the Examination

Papers will be objective type. Medium of examination is English only.

Syllabus for Entrance Examination
Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.
Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

APPLICATION FORM are published by the UPSC at interval of six months,

WHEN THE EXAM WILL BE HELD OF NDA 2 OF YEAR 2012

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. Every year Union of Public Service Commission(UPSC) conducted the NDA entrance examination all over in India for the Air Force, Navy and Army wing of NDA.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1)Nationality: Should be a Indian.

2)Age: The age of the candidate must be between 16.5 and 19 years.

3)Sex: only male candidates are allowed.

4)Martial Status: Should be unmarried.

5)Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 12th standard form a recognized board(with Physics,Chemistry & Mathematics for Air Force & Navy). Any candidate appearing for the 12th examination is also eligible to apply but his passing certificate must be submitted on date given(of the next year).

6)Physical Fitness:The candidate need to be physically fit.
