ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AFMC EXAM
Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIFMC exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.

Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects.

For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

AGE CRITERIA

Your minimum age should be 17 years.

SYLLABUS FOR AFMC EXAM

Preliminary Examination:

The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics,
Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.
Final Examination:

(Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination).
The Final Examination would consist of one paper containing 120 objective type questions(four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.
The duration of paper would be 3 hours.

This year AFMC exam date is not announced yet.

Armed force medical college entrance examination is conducted every year for the selection of candidates for MBBS course in armed forces.To apply for this examination a candidate should be 10+2 pass with physics, chemistry, biology and english with a minimum of 50% marks. Also in PCM minimum of 60% marks.

Important dates for AFMC 2012
The official dates are not announced for this examination. But the tentative dates for AFMC 2012 exam is given below:

Entrance Exam will be held by May 1st week.
Date of Application form :-January last week
Last date of submitting application form :- February 1st week
Date of Results:- last week of May
Interview date:- June

AFMC - ARMED FORCE MEDICAL COLLEGE entrance exam is conducted every year for admission in to MBBS course in AFMC.

One should pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% marks or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% marks to apply for AFMC entrance Exam.

The notification for 2012 entrance exam is yet to be declared however the sale of forms will be started from the last week of January 2012 followed by exam to be held during 1st week of May 2012.
