CST is competence in Software Technology.

Important Dates:

Last Date for Receipt of CST application Form - 20/01/2011
date of CST exam - 30th Jan, 2011
date of exam if CDAC 31st July 2011

CDAC Courses are full time Post Graduate Level Programs which include an industry relevant Project and Seminar. Duration for each Course 22 Weeks.

the courses offered are

DESD – Diploma in Embedded Systems Design
DSSD – Diploma in System Software Development
DABC – Diploma in Advanced Business Computing

Date of start of admission for CST exam

Next CST exam will be held on Jan/Feb, 2012.
After the examination, based on merit admission for FPGDST and FPGDIS courses is generally started in the month of April and ends in the month of May.

Duration of each course

Duration of courses in cda-mumbai is as below
FPGDIS- Full time post graduate diploma in information security is of 26 weeks or 6 months duration.
FPGDST- Full time post graduate diploma in advanced software technology is a one year programme.
Mobile computing and applications- this is a short term P.E course which is of duration 3 days.

Eligibility for appearing for CST -2010 is three years B.Sc or Polytechnic diploma.
This test is completed in objected type in four stages E, I, D, G. for E, I level test
require only bachelor degree or diploma....

Examination Procedure

1.Every paper contains 25 multiple choice questions
2.Every correct answer carries three marks.
3.One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
4.Selection procedure -Admission is given based on the merit
in aptitude test and computer concepts.
5.Course fee -Rs. 65, 000.

For different course there is different timing and institute wise it is vary but basically it is 52 weeks and 26 weeks available. Admission start from first week of may.
