NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year by UPSC.

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam in all wings.If you are from non Science student then applicable for only Indian Army branch.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There is no specific age relaxation for reserved category .

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

Selection process for NDA exams are -Written test followed by Interview . Physical and Medical test should be measured at the time of interview.This Process is organized by SSB .

NDA I and NDA II exam date already over for this year so if you want participate NDA exam then you can apply to NDA I exam in 2013 .So please wait for NDA II exam notification .

NDA Exam Eligibility Criteria:

=>To sit for this exam you need to complete your class 12 exam first because that is the basic eligibility criteria.

=>Your age should be between 16.5-19 years.

=>Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam. Girls are not allowed.

=>Selection procedure includes written exam, physical test and personal interview.

An examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 19th August, 2012 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 130th course, and for the 92nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from July, 2013

Availability of NDA Application Forms

A candidate can appear for the UPSC conducted National Defense Academy (NDA) Exam only if :-

>> Candidates are within the age limit of 16.5-19 years as seen on 1st January if you are appearing for the April exam of that year and on 1st July if you are appearing for the exam in August..

>> Candidate must either be appearing for 12th boards in the year of appearing of NDA or must have passed 12th from a recognized board..

The forms for the NDA-1 exam which is going to be conducted on 7th April,2013 shall be available from 22nd December,2012

The last date for the submission of the forms is 21st January,2013
