NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. The candidates are being given admission to various defence services like
-Army
-Navy
-Air Force through this exam.

For this academic year, UPSC has conducted NDA Exam both the times. So, it is not possible for you to appear for NDA Exam this year.

If you are interested to appear for NDA Exam, you can apply for the upcoming NDA I Exam of next academic year.

Here I am providing you the important dates of this particular exam. Make a note of it.

-Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
-Last date to receive the completed application forms : 30-01-2012
-Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012

Hello friend,
The application form for the upcoming NDA exam I, 2012, will be available from 31-12-2011.
The application forms will be available at post offices and head post offices throughout India.
Candidates willing to write the exam may also apply online through www.upsconline.nic.in

The examination will be conducted on 15-04-2012.

Availability Of NDA Forms

The UPSC conducts the NDA (National Defense Academy) exam which is held twice a year in the months of April and August for which the forms shall be available in the months of January and April,respectively..

You can avail the forms from your nearby post office or from your nearest book depot..

The next NDA exam is to be held on April for which the important dates are as follows :-

The forms shall be available from 30th December,2011

Last date for submission of the forms is 30th January,2012

The exam shall be conducted on 15th April,2012


Eligibility Criteria :-

In order to appear for the NDA exam..you need to fulfill the following conditions :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths if you want to join Navy or Air Force)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

The written exam shall test you on the following things :-

English
Basic Maths
General Knowledge

You need to first clear the written exam,then the interview and then the medical examination..

its good to hear about your choice yes you can easily apply to it after completion of 12 or at the time while you are in 12 this exam is conducted by upsc 2 times in a year.You can fill forms online or purchase from recognised post offices

1.Release of Notification- October, 2011/2012
2.Last date of submission of application form- November, 2011/2012
3.Date of Examination-April, 2012/2013

NDA exam is conducted twice a year.
You can get the forms in the month of May and in the month of November.
The exam is conducted in the Month of August and April respectively.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

2)Personal Interview.
