I am BE/BTech in Civil Engineering. Give me the list of government jobs where i can apply.
Is their any other field in government other than Civil Engg where i can apply. |

IBPS is an organization that conduct written exams for recruitment in various banks operating in India. The written tests are conducted for Clerical post and PO/MT posts. There is no fixed schedule for conducting the written tests. Depending upon expected requirement in banks, IBPS conducts the written tests. The written test qualified candidates do apply the banks, notified by IBPS. The educational qualification required for clerical posts, is 10+2 and for PO posts, it is Graduation. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has been given the responsibility to recruit candidates for Clerk and PO jobs for the PSU banks in India. To select the right candidates, IBPS conducts separate exams for both Clerk and PO jobs in the PSU Banks.
PSU stands for the Public Sector Undertaking. There are total of more than 19 Public Sector Undertaking banks in India. You may perhaps recognise them as the government banks. Through the IBPS exams, candidates are selected for jobs in these banks. The name of these banks are: Allahabad Bank Andhra Bank Bank of Baroda Bank of India Bank of Maharashtra Canara Bank Central Bank of India Corporation Bank Dena Bank IDBI Bank Ltd Indian Bank Indian Overseas Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Punjab National Bank Punjab and Sind Bank State Bank of India Syndicate Bank UCO Bank Union Bank of India United Bank of India Vijaya Bank Eligibility For IBPS Clerk Exam: For appearing in IBPS Clerk exam, candidate should be 12th pass with at least 60 per cent marks. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category require 55 percent marks. The age limit for the exam is 21 to 28 years. There is relaxation on upper age limit for the reserve category. Eligibility for IBPS PO Exam You should have graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university in India. Age Criteria: General - 20 to 30 years SC/ST - 20 to 35 years OBC - 20 to 33 years Exam Dates: The IBPS PO exam has been concluded for the year 2012. You will now have to wait till next year to appear in it. You can still apply for the IBPS Clerk exam but so far the dates have not been announced. Its been told that the exam has been delayed and now it would take place in October-November while the dates would be announced by the end of August or early September. |

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) now conducts separate common written exams for posts of Clerks, Probationary Offices/ Management Trainees and specialist officers in 19 public sector banks.The candidates passing the common written exam (CWE) for any category are given a scorecard which will be valid for one year and will give the candidate an opportunity for entering directly in Interview/GD phase for any vacancies announced in that category by any of the participating 19 banks. The next IBPS exam will be held in the month of December or January. The IBPS exam is for clerical posts and from this year only graduates are valid to apply for the post. So from this time I suggest you to prepare well for the exam as the competition are huge for the exam. Concentrate more on the sections of aptitude and reasoning. Thank you, All the best. |
