HI,sir / mam i want to know the full details for the position of DSP and i want to know the materials to prepare for that exam plz give an information

For the DSP you have to clear the state civil services examination [also called as Group I examination] through their respective state public service commissions.

Selection Process:
Written Exam (Preliminary and Main Exam)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Interview and Medical

Exam is based upon these subject :

General Awareness
Mental Ability
Logical Reasoning
Mathematics
Quantitative Aptitude
General English
General Science
Firstly go through the whole syallabus then pratice it daily . If you find any difficulty then search on u tube or go to any learning platform.
Gave mock test daily once you complete the syallabus.
Do atleast 7 previous year exam. From this you get the idea what are the main topic.
POSITION
DSP stands for Deputy Superintendent of Police.
DSP is equivalent to Assistant Commissioner of Police and could be promoted to IPS after few years of service depending on the rules of state government.
