I have passed BSc. Mathematics from Periyar University during the year 2012 through Periyar Institute of Distance Education under the break in study (single mode) scheme. Is it recognised by UGC? If yes kindly provide necessary documents for the purpose of Government job.

Yes the institute is recognized by UGC and government of Tamil nadu.
After B.Sc in maths you can go for following jobs
>> Attain a B.ed degree and qualify NET for teaching in good institutes.
>> You can do data analysis job , statistical job in both government sector and private company.
>> You can also get technical job in banking sector.

Documents required for a government job will be
>> Mark sheet of the qualified degree from recognized university.
>> Pass /Qualified degree from the university.
>> Character certificate from the last qualifying institute (optional)
>> Police clearance certificate of residence and identity.
