Institute of Cost Accounts of India (earlier known as Institute of Cost & Work Accounts of India)
conducts the Cost and Work accounts (CWA) course is.

This is the only institute to conduct this course.

The Head Quarter of the institute is in Kolkata and it has one office in New Delhi.
Apart from that there are four regional councils of the institute and local chapters
of the institute in various cities.

The Western Region Council is in Mumbai.

The CWA course comprises of Foundation Course, Intermediate Course and Final Course.
You have to complete Foundation Course to get admission in Intermediate Course and
for Final Course you must complete Intermediate Course. Also a practical training is
required to be completed to complete the course.

Fresh registration for the course can be done by 12th passed students in Foundation
Course.
For graduates, fresh registration is possible in Intermediate Course too.

There is no age restriction for the course.

The fees structure for the course is as below.

Foundation Course : Rs. 3,500/-
Intermediate Course : Rs. 15,700/- (Rs. 19,700/- if Oral Coaching is opted i.e.
Rs.4,000 extra for oral coaching)
Final Course : Rs. 11,000/- (Rs. 16,000/- if Oral Coaching is opted i.e.
Rs.4,000 extra for oral coaching)

You can register for the course anytime in a year.

COST&WORK ACCOUNTANT HAS THE SAME IMPORTANCE AS A B.COM GRADUATE HAS? OR IS IT SOMETHING MORE HIGHER?

hai,

ICWA stands for Cost and Work Accountancy. On 28th May, 1959 the Institute of Cost and works Accountants of India (ICWAI) was setup under the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959.

Cost and Work Accountants structures the business policy of a company and to give a forecast for projects to be carried out on the basis of past and present financial performances.


Eligibility of ICWA:For pursuing this program a student must have completed 17 years of ages and must have passed the senior secondary examination (10+2) of any board recognized by the Central or State government.

Specializations of ICWA:

ICWA - Statistics, Tax laws and Tax planning , Auditing, Cost and management accountancy

Fee Structure:

Foundation Course- Rs. 3500 for both Oral as well as Postal mode.

Intermediate Course- Rs. 15700 for Postal mode and Rs. 19700 for Oral coaching mode

Final Course- Rs.11500 for postal mode and Rs. 16500 for oral coaching mode
Computer Training- Rs.3400

Modular Training Fee- RS.4000

Duration:

Foundation Program- 6 months

Intermediate Program- 12 months

Management Training- 36 months

Final Course- 12 months

Salary:

ICWA candidates are in huge demand in private companies, pharmaceutical, banking sector, finance sector, government sector, and education as well as in public utility sector.
The initial salary in this field will start from Rs.25,000 to Rs.30,000 per month.

institute of cost and work accounts of India is a full form of ICAW.
the complete course comprises three course. they are:
1. foundation course.
2. intermediate course.
3. final course.
the fees structure is as follows:


Intermediate Course- Rs.15,700/-
Rs.4000/- is charged extra if you opt for
oral coaching.
Final Course- Rs.11,000/-
Rs.5000/- is charged extra if you opt for
oral coaching.
The cost of application form and
prospectus is Rs.200, if you purchase
from ICWAI office/council. Rs.50 will be
charged extra if you order it by post.
The examination fee for Intermediate
course is Rs. 1600/- and is Rs.1800/- for
Final course.
