MPSC STANDS FOR MAHARASTRA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.
UPSC STANDS FOR UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION. BOTH conducts exams for civil services every year LIKE IAS,IPS,IES,IFS.............. Some of the posts are as under- 1. Rajyaseva, STI, Assistant exam 2. Tahsildar 3. Asst Municipal Commissioner 4. Customs officer (Assistant Commissioner) 5. IRS (Indian Revenue Service). IRS has 2 branches: IRS (Income Tax) and IRS (Customs and Central Excise). In short One can say that you can become IAS/IPS/IFS through UPSC Civil Services Exam and Deputy Collector/Dy SP/ACP, Tehsildar, etc through MPSC State Services Exam. |

yes they both are same in some respect IPS stand for Indian Police Service and SP stands for Superitendent of Police where as one can become SP when he pass the IPS exam conducted by the UPSC due to this reason SP and IPS are same |
