Re: Can I join IPS on the basis of diploma marks?
IPS stands for Indian Police Services which is one of those central government services
in which appointment is done through Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC once every year. Diploma in engineering is not sufficient qualification for appearing the Civil Services Examination. One must be a graduate of any faculty, to be eligible for the Civil Services Examination. So, you are not eligible for the exam presently. You can apply for the exam later after finishing graduation. There is no percentage restriction. One should be graduate of any faculty with any percentage of marks (more than pass marks). http://upsc.gov.in/ |
