What is the common difference between Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor in University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET)?

Default Re: Difference between Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor in UGC?

In layman terms, candidates getting selected for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) through UGC NET gets MHRD fellowship for doing PhD from any recognised university while candidates qualifying for Assistant Professor through UGC NET are eligible for joining any university as an assistant professor.

The selection for both these options are done through a common examination known as UGC NET and for details regarding the same examination one can refer to the link www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
