Is Diploma in Pharmacy enough to join Indian Army as Pharmacist?


I have completed Diploma in Pharmacy. Can I join Indian Army as a Pharmacist? Is it possible? Which are the exams I need to write and clear for that?

Those who have completed 10+2/intermediate examination pass and qualified in D pharma with minimum 55% in aggregate and registered with state pharmacy Council of India are eligible to apply as pharmacist in Indian army.

Individuals qualified in B pharma with minimum 50% marks and registered with State pharmacy Council /pharmacy Council of India will also be eligible.

Education certificates issued by Education Boards affiliated to/listed by CBSE, AICTE, CBSE and NIOS will only be considered.
