Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
@pise.satish
Mineral water comes directly from the ground and for this reason contains a lots of mineral nutrients. Sterile water contains no germs in it. On the otherhand, Distilled water contains no minerals at all. Mineral water is therefore preferred for drinking purpose. |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
DISTILLED WATER- it is pure water, through which current does not passes.
it is used in chemistry labs for experimental use. STERILE WATER- it is water used for dilution purpose. example- usp is a sterile. MINERAL water- it is the impure water in which certain impuriries like minerals, salt etc are mixed in minute proportion. example- water which we drinks. |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
in distilled water impurities settle down after some time , when boiled
in sterile water , water is free from micro-organismsbut donot contain essential elements in mineral water contains essential minerals end is free from micro - organisms |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
distilled water does not contain any minerals
sterile water contains no germs no minerals and mineral water contains no germs but lots of essential minerals |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
Mineral water is water containing minerals or other dissolved substances.it is also known as carborated water.
sterile water is water for injection that is sterilized and contains no antimicrobial agents. It is for inhalation therapy only. distill water is Water that has been freed of dissolved or suspended solids and organisms by distillation. Water that has had virtually all of its impurities as well as electrolytes removed through distillation. Distillation is the process of boiling the water and re-condensing the steam into a clean container, thus leaving contaminants behind. |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
distilled water does not contain any minerals it is prepared by distillation process
sterile water is devoid of any germs or impurity as it is sterilised .used as water for injection mineral water contains mineral nutrients also called carbonated water |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
Mineral water contains minerals.sterilized water is used to dilute something.distilled water is obtained after boiling the normal water.it has no minerals in it.we can drink it.

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
Distilled water is water that has virtually all of its impurities removed through distillation.
Sterile water injections are a relatively new non-pharmacological procedure for helping relieve the low back pain sometimes experienced during labor. Mineral water is water containing minerals or other dissolved substances that alter its taste or give it therapeutic value |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
no yu cant drink distilled and sterile water both of them are tasteless or are of very bad taste they are just purest form of water meant for experimental purposes and not for drinking

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
this is an intresting question and the answer is :-
distilled water: it is obtained by the process of distillation and it is obtained by boiling water and collecting its vapour in then this water collected is called as distilled water... sterile water: this type water is obtained by the process of purification by various processes like osmosis, reverse osmosis, plasma membrane etc... mineral water: this type of water is avaliable every where and is rich and abundant in most of the minerals in the dissolved in it.... purpose of different type of water distilled is used mainly in experimental purposes and sterile water is now a days used mostly for drinking and in medical purposes and is germ free. and last but not the least the mineral woter is rich in resources and should be drinked but because of a lot of other impurities is not preffered now a days.. glad to answer your querry.. all the best |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
distill water is basically used for lab purposes, whereas sterile water is used for injections and other pharmaceutical preparation and mineral water is basically used for drinking purposes

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
Dear friend,
I am trying to make you understand that the basic difference of distill water, sterile water and mineral water. Distilled Water is pure water, through this water current does not passe. so generally it is used in Chemistry labs for experimental use. Sterile Water is water used for dilution purpose. Mineral water is the impure water in which some entities like minerals, salt etc are mixed in minute proportion.. the water which is drunk by us. Good luck. |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
though they appear the same there is a slight variation with those types.
distilled water-Distillation is a process of heating the impure water, collecting the vapour and cooling it.The water obtained through distillation is called distilled water. sterilised water-It is form of water obtained by heating water,it is done to kill all micro organisms in the water.we cannot say how long the sterilised water remains in that state. Distilled water can be said more pure than sterilised water because.Distilled water is separated from minerals and is a process which kills almost everything.Where as sterilised water have bacteria killed but not separated from minerals. Mineral water-Naturally occurring water that contains dissolved mineral salts, elements, or gases. |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
distilled water is that water there are no impurities in it.
it does not not contain any minerals even too in fraction. the rain drop before coming to contact with atmoshphere is also distilled. we get this water only in lab. stereilsed water is that which does not contain any germs it is free of all microorganisms. mineral water is that water which is fit for human beings consumption and does not have any germs. it may contain chlorin, florine etc to some extent |

ur question is quite good and interesting..STERILE WATER:The water from which bacteria and viruses are removed or killed by the process of uv radiation or boiling.this is used for the parenteral preparations nothing but the water for injections for the purpose of dilution.DISTILLED WATER:The water which is boiled and it is recondensed into steam and the pure water is collected...this is done to remove impurities such as salts..this water is used in chemistry labs for washing the equippment such as pippets, burretes etc..MINERAL WATER:This water contain naturally or artificially added minerals..many forms of mineral water are carbonated which may a be result of natural processess.this water is having 250 ppm of mineral substances..this is the water which we drink.... |

Difference in distilled water, sterile water and mineral water
Water we see exists as of many more kinds even more than stated here..
Normal Water/River water/Pond water = H20 + Minerals + Microbes(Bacteria+Virus) + Mud/sand Distilled Water = H2O Sterilized water = H20 + Minerals + Microbes(Bacteria deactivated) Mineral Water = H20 + Minerals Actually a clear water is hygienic for drinking but due to decline in disease resistivity in humans, purification is adopted for better health. Sterilized water is used for drinking where water purification is not proper. Distilled water is mainly used for medicinal practice and chemical reactions. Mineral water is used for storing drinking water for very very long time. Post inn for further details or various queries.. |

Re: distill water, sterile water and mineral water
this aquestion related to chemistry
distilled water=purest form of water eg rain water sterlized water = deactivated under lab conditions of microbes comprising of minerals mineral water conssits of minerals and distilled water fit for drinking pupose eg bisleri |
