Eligibility Criteria of CDS Exam

Hello Nasrah,

First of all, You Must know that CDS is more like an Entrance Exam rather than a Course to be Completed. This Exam is Conducted Twice Every Year By the UPSC which is an Organization conducting such various Exams and Recruiting Candidates All over India.

The Combined Defense Services Exam is conducted twice a year (For Both Boys and Girls) usually in the month of Feb and Nov, for which the Notifications are released in the months of Oct and June Respectively.

So, Coming back to the Eligibility Criteria of the CDS Exam For the Various Academies Mentioned Below:

► Indian Military Academy (OR) Officers' Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent
► Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering
► Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of EngineeringBachelor of Technology

Age Limit and Restrictions:

Indian Military Academy : 19-24 years
Air Force Academy : 19-23 years
Naval Academy : 19-24 years
Officers’ Training Academy : 19-25 years (not before 2 June)
