the scope is very good,most of the foreign countries are investing their money for reearch in this field in india because they can get human resources & brilliants for a less amount of money,for them its a less amount of money,but for us its a huge salary.so go ahead.the four fields which have a great future are bio-tech,nano tech,computer science & chemical enginering.

so you can choose it for your future.

In india not a lot scope but yes you can join the B.Sc or M.Sc programme from bitech.

You can also do B.Tech.

Now iit also starts the M.Tech programme from biotech.

In india very few biotech companies iin whcih you can apply for job after completing the study like Biocon, panacea,biotech india, nicholas piramal ltd,care biomedical etc.

You can also join the pharma company.

JRF and NET is the best carrier option for biotech students.

Biotechnolgy is a research oriented field. if you choose the biotecnnology you will doing U.G courses like B.Tech/B.s.,etc. after doing U.G you must do the P.G courses in Biotechnology for further research. the job opportunities in this field are very rare. you will study further to develop in this field to get a good job in this field.

Yes you can get a number of good opportunities in biotechnology..
While doing graduation,try to apply for CSIR Scholarships also...
Try the best Colleges for admission....SD College,Chandigarh

Sonal though biotechnology is a good subject and you can grab a lot of opportunities ,in drug reaserch, in pharma and in genetical and biotechnological jobs around the world but the jobs are mainly in private field and the market in india right now is not very good. So if you want to afford to go abroad,it will be very helpfull for you.

the scope for bio tech is on the increase with more and more companies starting and improving the R and D programs.

many persons pursue bio tech purely based on the interest in the field and continue on further to do an M.Tech in the same field...

this is to improve their knowledge and the pay scale on the R and D programs.

If u choose MBA after an bio tech programme there is less oppurtunity to exhibit ur bio tech knowledge in the career.

so it is wise if u go for M.Tech biotech after a B.tech.

Yes Biotechnology have Great scope but not in india may be it will be in future

but in current days Biotech is a great opportunity if you want to work in Foregin.

i want to ask if i would not get admission in b.tech biotech on the basis of entrance test, then what should i do? should i go for bsc biotech or is there any other way to get admission in b.tech biotech? i dont know how to apply for bsc biotech? will i have to take admission in a good college after my 12th class result ? please suggest me some ways because i am totally confused and tensed.
