Does the entrance syllabus for IES exam changes every year?


Does syllabus for IES changes every year? Like subtopics and weightage of the topics etc.? I am still pursuing my B.Tech Electrical. How hard would be the question paper? Please guide me how to prepare .

The weightage per subject or topics may change but the syllabus remains same every year... very often they change slight in their syllabus.
