Yes, HCL follows online process for the recruitment of freshers. Generally HCL have three round of selection which is mandatory to clear for final selection. The first round will be of online aptitude test, and online objective type questions will be asked. There will be 40 questions from mathematics as well as from reasoning and logical based.

The main topics for the Aptitude test will be like Age related questions, Blood relations, Basic of mathematics fundamental, Speed and distance questions, Verbal and non verbal reasoning. You can take help of RS Agrawal, Arun Sharma books for practice. If you clears this round then the next round will technical interview, in which you will be asked about your branch and some technical question related to work domain.

Once you get shortlisted in this round then you will be called for HR round which is basically done to check candidate communication skills and some other information like weather is able to relocate or not , What are his/her goals etc. They can also ask about current affairs to know your knowledge skills and hence try to read newspaper on daily basis. Because it will help you a lot in Interview and to clear technical round choose any one subject in which you have good command.
