The duration of the B.Ed. course is two consecutive academic terms. The date of commencement and termination of the academic year depend on the college you are taking admission to.

Most of the colleges require that you should atleast have a graduation degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised college with a minimum of 50% aggregate. However, the marks criteria is a bit relaxed for the SC/ST candidates.

The duration of the B.Ed. course in Mumbai is one year. The candidates with a bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university are eligible for this course. The cut off marks required for admission varies for different colleges. The candidates belonging to the reserved category are given relaxation in the percentage. >> some of offer 1 year or 14 months B.Ed course in India.
