if you want to become company secretary after 12th you need to write foundation exam .

There is no special qualification for company secretary the candidate who finished 12th with good percentage of marks in any stream including science or commerce stream from recognized board can apply for the course . But the candidate should well talent and knowledge in company management .

you have to face three levels namely foundation exam m intermediate exam and final exam . if the candidate finished under graduation he may directly apply for the intermediate course .

The duration for company secretary course is 3 years after final examination the candidate are send for practical training in any of the company it is because it will improve the practical experience to the candidates .

company secretary having good jon opportunity is both private as well as public sectors ( ie : companies , insurance sectors , banking sectors and financial institutions) .

The remuneration will pay to the company secretary approximately 25,000 to 40,000 it depends upon the companies and experience of the candidate .

the duration is 2 years only.
for admission you have to give an entrance exam held twice a year.
the subjects are as follows,

Group-I
• Company Accounts and Cost & Management Accounting (ICA & CMA)
• General Laws and Commercial Laws (IGCL)
• Management Information Systems and Corporate Communication (IMIS & CC)
• Tax Laws (ITL)
Group-II
• Company Law (ICL)
• Company Secretarial Practice (ICSP)
• Economic, Labour and Industrial Laws (IELIL)
• Securities Laws and Regulation of Financial Markets (ISL & RFM)
Final Course for Company Secretary is a 10 month long course. It is the last and final course in the route of becoming a Company Secretary.
In the CS Final Course, there are basically 9 subjects. These are arranged into 3 groups which include 3 papers of 100 marks each.
Group I:
• Advanced Company Law and Practice (FACLP)
• Secretarial Management and Systems Audit (FSMSA)
• Secretarial Practice relating to Economic Laws and Drafting and Conveyance (FSPELDC)
Group II:
• Banking and Insurance-Law and Practice (FBILP)
• Corporate Restructuring-Law and Practice (FCRLP)
• Financial, Treasury and Forex Management (FFTFM)
Group III:
• Direct and Indirect Taxation-Law and Practice (FDITLP)
