Please let me know that fashion design course is how many years. Whether fashion designing course is available exclusively for girls and what is future stability?

There are various kind of fashion designing courses like certificate courses, diploma courses, 3 years degree program, 4 years bachelor degree program and 2 years master degree program. You can take admission in a course which is suitable for you. There are many girls colleges and institutions who offers these courses. Thanks

After you have completed your 10+2 with at least 50% marks, then you can apply for Fashion Designing course.

There is no such criteria that the course is especially for girls. Even male candidates can also apply for Fashion Designing.

Duration of the Bachelor of Fashion Designing course is 3 years only.

To apply for Bachelor in Fashion Designing course, you will have to apply for an entrance exam conducted by the institute itself.

After qualifying entrance exam, you will be called for a Personal Interview.

However, you must have a good fluency in English to qualify Interview section.

BFD has a good scope in future. MNCs like Reliance Trends, Pantaloons, Reebok, Levis, Puma, etc. hire candidates at lucrative packages.

Also, they get chance to visit foreign destinations frequently.

After passing 10+2 with minimum 50% marks you can apply for fashion design courses.

2)B.Tech in leather technology- 4 years
3)Diploma program in Leather Processing, Leather Goods and Footwear- 2 years
4)Advance diploma in Textile Design and Fashion Design- 2 years
5)Professional diploma in Textile Design- 2+2 years
6)Advance diploma and B.A(Honors) in Fashion Technology- 3years.

After completing graduation or Diploma in fashion design you can apply for following post:

5)Jewelers and precious stone and metal worker
