Sir , its all depend on your subject knowledge , first you need to know the basics of differentiation of higher order degress unless you r expert in that , you can't able to apply a idea to solve a problem ...
-> purchase a book of differentiation basics and concentrate on the following
a) order
b) degree
c) partial differential equations
d) linear differential equations
e) higher order differential equations ..
then you can get an idea...

Preparation Tips for Mathematics

Some formulas are very general, but in some cases, questions are asked from the middle of such numerical and you would be asked to identify it.

- Make a sheet of important concepts/formulas.

- Make sure you know these formulas and most importantly, their usage.

- To score well in Mathematics in a Kerala Board, it is very important to be completely in sync with your book.

- Almost all the entire paper revolves around the concepts given in your book.

- For a problem based question, read the problem more than 3 times to get an idea of what you are being asked to do.

- Write down what you are given and what you need to find, work with the things given in a systematic way and try to find what is asked.

- Once you are through with your revision, start solving the practice papers, unsolved papers and sample papers.

* Never remain absent from mathematics classes. Each absence can cause huge loss. Student should try to recover and learn the lecture missed in absence from class in order to perform better in mathematics subject.

* Never ignore the mistakes done while solving out the mathematical problems. Try to analyse and understand each and every mistake. Try not to repeat same mistake again in future.

* Never hesitate in seeking help from your teacher in the event of any difficulty while studying mathematics subject. Generally teachers are more cooperative and receptive to requests for extra help.

* Never hesitate to ask the query or doubt or question in class room while mathematical period. Note that more questions/doubts/query asked by the student more knowledge gained by the student. It is good lifelong skill to ask question and school is a more appropriate place to practice it.
